The Samsung Galaxy A56 is Samsung’s mid-range phone, launched globally in March 2025. It features a premium design, a good processor, a good camera, and smart AI capabilities.
Display
The Samsung A56 is equipped with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display that offers FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The panel provides up to 1200 nits of brightness in harsh sunlight for improved visibility, and can reach up to 1900 nits for HDR content to enhance the viewing experience for movies and games. To protect the panel, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ is used.
Camera
The camera system includes a triple lens rear setup: a 50MP main lens, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro lens. The back camera can record videos in 4K 30fps and 1080p 30/60fps. The front camera features a 12MP lens, capable of recording in 4K 30fps and 1080p 30fps.
Performance
It is powered by Exynos 1580, an in-house built 4nm fabrication chip with an octa-core architecture. The cores include one Cortex A720 core clocked at 2.9 GHz, three Cortex A720 cores clocked at 2.6 GHz, and two Cortex A520 cores clocked at 1.9 GHz. The GPU is the Xclipse 540. It runs Android 15 with One UI 7 and promises up to six years of major updates.
Battery
The smartphone includes a 5000mAh Li-Po non-removable battery. It supports 45W wired charging.
