The Realme 16 is Realme’s upcoming midrange smartphone, launched globally at the mid of 2026. It will feature a premium design, a decent processor, and a decent camera setup.
Display
The Realme 16 will be equipped with a 6.8-inch OLED display that offers 2k resolution and a 144Hz high refresh rate. The panel will provide up to 1800 nits of brightness in harsh sunlight for improved visibility and up to 6500 nits peak in consuming HDR content. To protect the panel, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i will be used.
Camera
The camera system will include a dual lens rear setup: a 50MP 24mm main lens, an 8MP ultrawide 16mm lens. For selfies, Realme will use a 50MP sensor. The back and front cameras can capture videos up to 4K 30fps.
Performance
It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400, a 4nm fabrication chip with an octa-core architecture. The cores include four Cortex A78 cores clocked at 2.6 GHz, and four Cortex A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. The GPU will be the Mali G615 MP2. It will run Android 16 with Realme UI 7.0.
Battery
The smartphone will include a 7000mAh non-removable battery. It will support 80W wired and 7.5W reverse wired charging.
