The Samsung Galaxy A17 is Samsung’s latest entry-level smartphone, launched globally in August 2025.

Display

The Samsung A17 is equipped with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display that offers FHD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The panel provides up to 800 nits of brightness in harsh sunlight for improved visibility. To protect the panel, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus is used.

Camera

The camera system includes a triple lens rear setup: a 50MP main lens, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The main back camera & the front camera can capture videos at 1080p 30fps.

Performance

It is powered by the Exynos 1330, an in-house built 5nm fabrication chip with an octa-core architecture. The cores include two Cortex A78 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz, and six Cortex A55 cores at 2.25 GHz. The GPU is the Mali G68 MP2. It runs Android 15 and promises up to six years of major updates.

Battery

The smartphone includes a 5000mAh Li-Po non-removable battery. It supports 25W first charging.
