The Samsung Galaxy A28 is Samsung’s upcoming mid-range smartphone, which will launch in the middle of 2026.
Display
The Samsung A28 will be equipped with a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display that will offer FHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The panel will provide up to 1200 nits of brightness in harsh sunlight for improved visibility. To protect the panel, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ will be used.
Camera
The camera system will include a triple lens rear setup: a 50MP main lens, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro lens. The back camera can record videos in 4K 30fps and 1080p 30fps. The front camera features a 16MP lens, capable of recording in 1080p 30fps.
Performance
It will be powered by the Exynos 1480, an in-house built 4nm fabrication chip with an octa-core architecture. The cores include four Cortex A78 cores clocked at 2.75 GHz, and four Cortex A55 cores at 2.0 GHz. The GPU is the Samsung Xclipse 530. It will run Android 17 with OneUI 9.0.
Battery
The smartphone includes a 6000mAh Li-Po non-removable battery. It will support 45W first charging.
